Azrou
Azrou is a Berber town. Its small medina dates from the seventeenth century, built by order of Sultan Moulay Ismail. The town is remarkable for its roofs covered with green glazed tiles, which give it European village tunes.
It is the starting point for many excursions to the Middle Atlas. One of the easiest walks, you can undertake is to visit the lookout Ito, a natural terrace from which the view of the mountains is breathtaking. A true piece of paradise, among fragrant cedar forests and colonies of wild monkeys.
