Moulay Abdellah The mosque is named after its founder, Moulay Abdellah and is located in the district of the same name. Built in the eighteenth century, this religious building is a sanctuary, a madrasah and a necropolis. This one was built by Sidi Mohamed Ben Abderrahman in the nineteenth century. A number of deceased kings of Morocco, based in the enclosure walls of the mosque which Moulay Abdellah (1732-1737) himself and Moulay Youssef (1912-1927). The mosque Moulay Abdellah, rich in its 25m high minaret, decorated with vertical strips of ceramic green (symbol of Islam) and topped four balls, is needed today as one of the most historical monuments outstanding of the Alawite dynasty.
